Five Recommended Workout YouTube channels
最後更新日期:2024年05月28日
This time, I want to share five yoga/home workout channels that I have been following for a long time. These channels can help you stay active at home with minimal cost, and they are also great for relieving body aches or correcting posture ????♀️🧘♀️
- Type:Full-body workout, HIIT, aerobics, yoga, etc.
- Language:English (exercise explanations, music only)
- Link::MadFit
My favorite playlist from Maddie is the Dance Workout. I’ve always had poor coordination and was never into dancing. It took me a long time to memorize the moves for the health dance in high school. However, after practicing with the music and relatively simple moves, I feel like I’ve rediscovered an interest in dancing! At first, I couldn't keep up with the moves (but it’s okay since no one can see me at home!), but with continuous practice, I can now easily follow along with the videos! Every time I finish a session, I feel much happier.
Recommendation 1: B-life
- TypeYoga, Pilates, stretching
- Language::Japanese (Japanese exercise explanations, multi-language subtitles)
- Link::B-life
I discovered this channel after coming to Japan! I usually use it for post-workout relaxation. The channel offers comprehensive stretches for different body parts. Following Mariko’s gentle guidance, both my body and mind feel healed.
Recommendation 3: Pamela Reif
- Type:Full-body workout, HIIT, aerobics, yoga, etc.
- Language:English (music only)
- Link::Pamela Reif
Anyone who watches workout videos probably knows Pamela! I started home workouts because of her. I also love her Dance Workouts, especially one themed around songs from the Barbie movie. Pamela is definitely the Barbie of the fitness world!
Recommendation 4: MIZI
- Type:Full-body workout, yoga, HIIT, etc.
- Language:English (music only)
- Link::MIZI
MIZI is a channel from Korea that uploads videos every Wednesday. The videos cover a wide range of themes with no explanations, only background music. MIZI also provides a weekly workout schedule every Monday, which is highly recommended for those who enjoy varying their workouts daily!
Recommendation 5: Siuyong Yoga
- Type:Yin yoga, relaxation
- Language::中文
- Link::Siuyong Yoga
Finally, I recommend this channel from Taiwan. I love Siuyong’s gentle voice and am happy to have discovered Yin Yoga through her. Each pose in Yin Yoga is held for at least 3 to 5 minutes. It’s great for relaxation in the evening or before bed. Additionally, Siuyong introduces a lot of knowledge about body meridians. Every practice session feels like I’m getting to know my body better.
