      Before graduate school, I was a typical science-track student and majored in engineering at university.<\/p>

      In graduate school, I made a decisive shift to the humanities and social sciences, and I’m currently studying in Tokyo.<\/p>

      Writing and reading are my greatest passions. At the heart of my creative work is the desire to connect with someone, somewhere in the world, and offer a moment of resonance or quiet encouragement through words.<\/p>

      I am currently engaged in research on AI ethics, adolescent mental health, as well as individualism and collectivism within the context of Asian cultures.<\/p>

      Here are some of the themes I\u2019m deeply interested in:
      Humanistic psychology, positive psychology, psychoanalysis, Stoicism, educational psychology, existentialism, and Buddhist thought.<\/p>
